ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

This hands-on, face-to-face workshop explores how LEGO® play can be intentionally used to develop key social skills such as sharing, turn taking, cooperation, and teamwork. Through guided activities and collaborative challenges, professionals will experience how LEGO® creates engaging, meaningful opportunities for children to practise positive social interactions in a fun and supportive way.

Participants will also practise using early LEGO® robotics resources to simulate playful learning experiences that can be easily adapted and taken back to the children and settings they support.

You will:

·       Learn how to use LEGO®-based activities to teach sharing, turn taking, cooperation, and teamwork.

·       Experience hands-on LEGO® and early robotics challenges that promote collaboration, cooperation, teamwork and communication.

·       Gain practical ideas you can immediately implement with children.

·       Build confidence in using play-based, engaging tools to strengthen children’s social skills.
